Engineering Services
The engineering services offered by Miller Engineering & Testing Inc. are concentrated in those areas which relate directly to our field testing and laboratory services.

Geotechnical Services
No other materials are more valuable nor more influenced by construction methods than are the earthen materials of soil and rock. Yet, virtually all structures from buildings to dams and manmade lagoons are constructred on, or within, these natural elements. Therefore, to insure structural integrity, subsurface investigations are of primary importance prior to the construction process.

Under the direct supervision of our Geotechnical Engineers, the composition of subsurface materials are investigated with respect to geometric boundaries, the influence of ground water and reulting engineering characteristics. Further, changes in these characteristics, which can result from construction methods, must be understood.

Through carefully planned site investigations, thorough field and laboratory testing of all materials, and an understanding of the behavior of soil and rock; it is possible to qualify the subsurface engineering characteristics of a construction site.

Through site exploration, testing and engineering analysis, Miller Engineering & Testing Inc. provides the full scope of geotechnical services necessary for the construction of:
